I've been hearing about VP debate moderator Gwen Ifill's totally not-positive book about Obama, The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama, which has caused a bit of a stir.
And just now, logging into my Audible account to download some books (I was an Audible nay-sayer who has changed his tune...I'll probably post about that later), and I am greeted with this:
I had to read the title a couple of times...Obama's Challenge: America's Economic Crisis and the Power of a Transformative Presidency, yes, it does seem to be present tense...
We're apparently in an age of Obama who is in the middle of a transformative presidency...
Have I been in a coma? What year is this? Is it too late to vote retroactively?
