I have a Swedish background, and my name once betrayed this much more clearly (but what happened to my name is another story).
After reading Johan Goldberg's perceptive debunking of Naomi Klein, I got interested in finding out more about him, and as a result have realized there's all sorts of interesting video content available at the libertarian site reason.tv. I'll no doubt be pointing to various items as I make my way through.
Today's topic is a discussion of the claim that Sweden is the most successful society the world has ever known, especially in an economic sense (the "Scandinavian model"). Unfortunately reason.tv doesn't provide transcripts, and I'm too lazy to transcribe it myself, so I can't provide easily-consumable quotes along with the video, as is my wont.
The discussion is quite interesting, even if you are likely to disagree with Johan's economic philosophy.
So just click on the damn video -- it won't hurt!
