I remember when the crisis was the Japanese "coopetition" machine buying up all our golf courses and movie studios. I even remember when all that "strange weather" we always seem to be having was because of "El Niño" (that was after it was due to "global cooling", for those keeping track).
Now it's "Peak oil".
Once again, we're all gonna die. Pretty soon now. Or in 20 years. Hardly ever longer than 20 years before we're all gonna die.
So it's refreshing to come across an article, even if it's a couple of years old now, that discusses the whole peak oil thing in some depth and gives some interesting insight. Check it out:
